Another Spanish Adventure – with My Folks

By Diana Marinova 12 Comments

Isn’t it great how freelance gives me the freedom to just leave everything and enjoy life?

It has its price, of course – I won’t spend too much time blogging about my trip now… A lot of work and email catching up to do! I will do one better – check out the travel movie I made 😀

My mom and dad were visiting – so they have the lead roles in the movie. We celebrated my father’s 65th birthday and their 40th wedding anniversary! How cool is that 😉

They got to see for the first time my Spanish home-office, the Santa Barbara Castillo in Alicante, the Alhambra in Granada, enjoyed a flamenco show in Granada, went to a bullfight in Málaga, attended the Tomatina in Buñol, got lost in the Oceanographic in Valencia and so much more!

Hope you enjoyed the travel movie – and if you want to make one yourself, now you can 😉

Hi Diana, Wow, celebrating your dad’s 65th birthday and parents 40th wedding anniversary all during the same time. How fun! Must have been an amazing time for your and your family. Sounds like you were all very busy!

Hi Susan – yes, “busy” has become something like my permanent state these days. And yes, we all had a great time. They liked Spain a lot and i am happy they managed to see not only the touristic side of it all 😉

Thanks, Lorraine – to be honest, it took a bit of a backseat because we decided to develop an even bigger (and better) idea… hope i’ll make you even prouder next year when it’s all ready! Did you start traveling yet? 😉

It sounds like you’ve got a few surprises up your sleeve!

And I doubt that I’ll be doing any travelling until my parents pass on. 🙁

Oh, don’t say that! I like to believe there is always a way to do something if you truly want it. Hope all is well with you and your folks, Lorraine 😀

It’s great to see a movie made using the software you’ve been working on. My parents will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in October. I only wish they liked to travel.

50th anniversary, eh? Congrats! Hope mine make it to 50 as well – there was even a pledge to come back to Málaga for the occasion 😉 My mom doesn’t really like to travel any more – but she did enjoy the trip. I hope her love for traveling will be reborn, so to speak. We’ll see. You are a traveler like myself – if you organize a trip for their anniversary, won’t they give it a try and enjoy a different experience?

Have fun on your trip, Jeri (that may be even happening right now!) 😀
